This option determines whether esbbase can run multiple calculations simultaneously on the same database.

There are two options:

• EXCLUSIVECALC TRUE: Does not allow several simultaneous calculations
• EXCLUSIVECALC FALSE: Allows several simultaneous calculations. It’s the default option.

Its structure is:

• EXCLUSIVECALC TRUE / FALSE

This option is important for a database in which different users can launch calculations: if several calculations coincide at the same time it not only affects the performance of the database, but it could even affect the calculation giving erroneous results.

This option is included in the Essbase.cfg file on the server (if this option is changed so that the server recognizes it, it must be stopped and restarted).

The selected option affects all applications on the server.

Esta opción determina si esbbase puede ejecutar al mismo tiempo varios cálculos simultáneamente en la misma base de datos.

Tiene dos opciones:

• EXCLUSIVECALC  TRUE: No permite varios cálculos simultáneos
• EXCLUSIVECALC  FALSE: Sí permite varios cálculos simultáneos. Es la opción por defecto.

Su estructura es:

EXCLUSIVECALC TRUE / FALSE

Esta opción es importante para una base de datos en las que diferentes usuarios  pueden lanzar cálculos: si varios cálculos coinciden al mismo tiempo no sólo afecta al rendimiento de la base, sino que incluso podría afectar al cálculo dando resultados erróneos.

Esta opción se incluye en el fichero Essbase.cfg en el servidor (si se cambia esta opción para que el servidor lo reconozca hay que detenerlo y reiniciarlo).

La opción seleccionada afecta a todas las aplicaciones del servidor.
