@GENMBRS

This function allows you to obtain all the members that belong to a certain generation of a specific dimension.

This function has the following structure:

• @GENMBRS (Part A, Part B)

Part A: The specific dimension.

Part B: The generation from which you want to obtain its members, it can be specified by its corresponding number or by its name (if it has been given a name).

Let’s see an example: starting from the following Outline.

If we apply the function @GENMBRS (“Markets”, 3) we obtain the members of generation 3 of the “Markets” dimension:

• [COUNTRIES]. [GERMANY]
• [COUNTRIES]. [SPAIN]
• [EUROPEAN ZONES]. [GERMANY]
• [EUROPEAN ZONES]. [MEDITERRANEAN]
• [EUROPEAN ZONES]. [CENTRAL EUROPE]

The @GENMBRS function can be used as a parameter within another function. For example:

Esta función permite obtener todos los miembros que pertenecen a determinada generación de una dimensión concreta.

Esta función presenta la siguiente estructura:

@GENMBRS(Parte A, Parte B)

Parte A: Recoge la dimensión concreta.

Parte B: Recoge la generación de la que se quieren obtener sus miembros, se puede especificar por su número correspondiente o por su nombre (si se le ha  dado nombre).

Veamos un ejemplo: partiendo del siguiente Outline.

Si aplicamos la función @GENMBRS(“Mercados”, 3) obtenemos los miembros de la generación 3 de la dimensión “Mercados”:

[PAÍSES].[ALEMANIA]

[PAÍSES].[ESPAÑA]

[ZONAS EUROPEAS].[ALEMANIA]

[ZONAS EUROPEAS].[MEDITERRÁNEO]

[ZONAS EUROPEAS].[EUROPA CENTRAL]

La función @GENMBRS se puede utilizar como parámetro dentro de otra función. Por ejemplo:
